Later in the evening went to visit my Aunty Amit and Uncle Sham to see the new member in the family. Cousin Faris' newly born baby girl, Dayang Izzian Kristal.
This is Masjid Bandaraya in Likas.

Flying back home
|
|
I was so excited about going home again. And Khairul pulak was so excited simply about flying again.
I took the bus from my office to meet up with Khairul at the ERL station in Putrajaya. We took the ERL to KLIA for check-in at 3.00PM. Our flight was supposed to depart at 5.10PM.
After the 2-hour wait we finally boarded into the plane. I gossipped with Khairul about the stewardess who spoke in a slang yang sungguh eksyen dan bidak. "Thuan-thuan dhaen phuan-phuan, shile mhathikhaan thelefoun bhimbheit andha. Threime khasey!". I could barely understand her English either.
Then as she desperately tried to close the door, it somehow popped back open. And all the passengers went laughing at her. She tried pushing back the door to close it but it popped open again. The steward went to help her but failed. The co-pilot came out to help. Then the technicians. Then some few other technicians. This went on for the next 20 minutes. Finally the pilot came out from the cockpit and declared ABANDON THE SHIP!
We disembarked from the plane and went back to the waiting area. Found ourselves a stretch of seats strategically placed in front of the TV, lied down and made ourselves comfortable. I even slept. Then AirAsia treated each of us with a small McD Beefburger and a bottle of mineral water.
We waited for nearly 4 hours before we finally departed at 8.45PM.
Oh well, at least I only paid RM400 for 2 return tickets.

BTN @ Pantai Cahaya Bulan, Kelantan
|
|
I was away for a 5-day BTN course at Pantai Cahaya Bulan, Kelantan.
This is my first time in Kelantan. Friendly people. Very kampungish environment. The very reason why Mat Sallehs come flocking into the state.
Thank you to Lott and Rizal for sending me off to the airport. Sorry couldn't attend your wedding in Kelantan .

I loved Ipoh, and Taiping is equally lovable, in a different way. Went to Taiping with Khairul for Puan Lott's wedding. Selamat Pengantin Baru Rizal and Lott! Such a loving couple. They probably had their first honeymoon strolling around at Taiping Lake Garden .
Disebabkan camera hamba yang tidak seberapa ini, I didn't take so much of pictures at Lott's wedding. Wedding theme color was purple. Everything was simple but pretty and nice. And hospitalities were superb.
You can view Lott's wedding pictures at http://photos.yahoo.com/azlilyamran. (Bah Lott, update lahh!! - I like doing this kan? People belum update I oredi announce.)
So, here's From Taiping With Love..

Hehehe

The result of having too many things to think in my head.
I'm going nuts.
Yes you guessed right. I took this picture in the washroom. That's the door handle on the right. Imagine someone opening the door while I was taking this picture.

My new hair
|
|
I cut my hair short. Not so short la. Shoulder-length.
Karmilla asked 'What's gotten into you??'. Well, I don't know.. Been too busy with work lately. Too many problems at work. Not enough hands.
I couldn't even generate proper sentences. I even gave orders to my people like my mom does to me! You know.. like 'Farrah, tolong anu dulu itu anu, nanti mummy anu suda baru la anu tu. Kalau ndak anu tu nanti. Okay?'. But I didn't say 'anu' laa.. Instead I said 'Faizal, nanti tolong nih kan itu nih.. pastu nih bla bla nih bla', and I thougth.. what crap am I talking to this guy????
My hair is a bit layered at the front now. I said to the hairstylist, 'Yang belakang potong sampai sini (pointing to my shoulder), lepas tu yang depan kasi potong pendek panjang panjang panjang'.
Pendek panjang panjang panjang?
I really need a break.
Karmilla was right when she asked 'Then what about the wedding???'. Actually I've been keeping my hair long for that very event cos I don't want to be wearing some wig on my head. Well, since the wedding date has been pushed forward, I still have time to grow my hair long.
I told Khairul that once the wedding is over I'll cut my hair real short. Like the Vidal Sassoon style. And he pulak said he'll skin his head. Whatever.
Urgh.. this hair is going to give me headache for 2-3 months. I so feel like doing a teknik rebonding now. Or should I just 'hanya guna shampoo sahaja'?
Hanya tinggal kenangan...
My new hair
By the way, did I tell you? See the botak below. He said now I don't have to look at the Pengarah Botak (read http://farrahar.blogspot.com/2005/04/this-mornings-conversation-me-i-like.html) anymore.

Early Breakfast At Restoran Yu Ai
|
|
Had an early breakfast with Khairul, Noi and Syaquan at Restoran Yu Ai.
We all had mee kari with seafood. Now I don't fancy mee kari or laksa but this one is sooo sedap that for the first time in my life I could actually finish the whole bowl of mee kari. Dia punya udang and ikan punya la fresh. Nyum nyum nyum.
Noi said the Serdang Nasi Briyani Gam bikin high. Now I say Restoran Yu Ai's mee kari bikin steam!
Unfortunately, punya la sedap sampai I terforgot to take some pictures.
So take this.
Two cute kittens in front of Sogo. Wished I could take them back with me.
