Mom & Sis in KL

My mom and sis were in KL for 5 days lastweek. They came with 3 bags. And went back to KK with 5 bags. Yes Kar, and you only came with 1 not-so-big bag for a two-month stay in KL.
What's with the hands with these two?

Getting To Know Iranun

Today (during firewall installation) I read a book on Iranun, one of the suku kaum in Sabah. My friend Anna is an Iranun.
Many people think Bajau and Iranun are both the same. Anna has been denying this for ages but she never gave any explanation.
So here goes. According to the writer, Iranuns originated from Tasik Lanao in Mindanao. Whereas the Bajaus originated from Johor. People thought they were the same because they hold the same religion and they fought togeher (with the Suluks) against British in Sabah (previously North Borneo) and the Spaniards in Mindanao.
Quite cute though when the writer mentioned some Sabah words that people might not be able to comprehend such as ngayau (i dunno what ngayau is) and tajau Cina (tajau is tempayan).

Jalan-Jalan Makan Angin

Khairul was famished but couldn't decide where to have dinner. We nearly stopped by at a restaurant di Sg Ramal but he decided to change his mind.
Then I dunno la which turning he took that caused us to go all the way from Kajang SILK Highway to Sg Ramal SILK Highway to a highway somewhere next to Kajang Perdana and past Cheras Mahkota. And that long journey cost us around 5 ringgit for all the 4 ke 5 tolls! Huh!
