The office applied for 4WD training to mentally, physically prepare us face the roads in Maliau Basin. Our Chairman decided to visit Sabah for some launching programs, and visit Maliau Basin, the Lost World this time around.
As soon as we arrived at the training spot for 4WD, we already had to put on the 4WD gear and crossed a river (as high as the car itself...and thank God the cars were the office's! phew).. Some of the cars didn't made it to crossing the river... luckily I managed to do just fine..

Rotorua stinks... of rotten eggs.
Kuirau Park, Rotorua
The whole of Rotorua is a highly active geothermal area. Geothermal vents have been known to just pop up in people's backyards here.
"Ini kawasan merbahaya kerana ianya adalah kawasan geotermal"
But I guess its okay if pretty pools like this pops up in your backyard...
...not some murky boiling mud pool! Unless you're into mud wrestling that is.
